Hello;

On new years i had unprotected vaginal sex with a bisexual men...i am terrified of having HIV...i'm waiting for the 3 month time to go get tested but the anxiety and worry is killing me...just want to know what my odds are of being infected..
Oh i know this doesn't count for much, but i got a really bad cold two weeks after the encounter.

The estimated odds are 1:1000 for any single episode of vaginal sex, so you'd have to be unlucky to be infected from this.  While the odds of you being infected are not very high, they are significant enough to warrant a test.  I think you are making a right decision by getting tested.

You need to divert your mind in to some thing else for the time being. Working out in a gymn is a good option or probably gardening might keep you busy.

Can't do any number crunching for you, because HIV can't be guessed.

I don't play the odds game. You need to test, that's all I can say.

Test at the 6 weeks and back it up with the final one at the 12th week. Your 6 week's result should be very indicative.

I'd hazard a guess he is proabably more careful with men than with women given the higher prevalence of HIV in the gay community.
