Unprotected Oral Risks

I could not post a question to the doctor so I put this here. I hope I can get a good answer. I went to a massage parlor and went with a girl I've had before. The previous treatment was a backrub followed by a handjob. This time, she offered a blowjob without a condom and I accepted. She's always seemed very clean and very nice, at least that's how I justified it to myself. She washed me off good and put me in her mouth for maybe a minute or two. She did some dirty talking and stroking and put me back in her mouth for another minute or two. She then finished me off with her hand. This was 5 days ago and I have no symptoms of any kind. Ever since, my penis has typically been very shrunken almost to the point of discomfort. I can probably attribute that to anxiety or just a phase. Other than that, no sores, bumps, rashes, burning or discharge. 2 days ago I was given oral sex and had normal sex with my girlfriend with no problems. I know that she contracted herpes from an old boyfriend like 14 years ago but that's it. Please don't judge me because I know what I did was scummy and believe me it won't happen again. That all being said, do I need to worry about having anything or passing anything along? Should I go for any type of test even though I am symptom free?

I don't mean to differ with you guys, but I have heard that it DOES carry some risk. I am not concerned with HIV but I am concerned with other STD's like herpes or something. I hear ya about more than once. It is incredibly hard to turn down a blowjob from a hot girl. I really need to find some way to curb my occassional (every few months) desire to go up and have that kind of fun even when I know it is wrong.

Can't tell you much about other STDs, Blow job is not a concern for HIV even if you have cuts in your penis cuz saliva does not contains the virus

Getting a blowjob isn't much of  risk for ANY STD, although of them all, probably herpes/syphillis and Hep B are the ones that could possibly be transmitted. All highly unlikely though.

And contrary to what raj has said, regardless of cuts/sores on your penis and bleeding gums, NO BLOWJOB RECEIVED IS EVER A RISK FOR HIV.

It's been more than ten days since your exposure right? Just get tested for all STDs. Your love muscle is shrunk because you're feeling guilty for what you did. You're not scum. People stray. But I don't think you've put either yourself or your girlfriend at risk.

If you need advice regarding the other STDs that can be transmitted by oral sex, check out the archives in th STD forum:)

I am so relaxed after reading this! I got into a similar situation today, but I bet I am NEVER going to go astray ever. Just one question guys, I wanted to get a test done anyways, and I had the unprotected oral sex (blow job) done yesterday, how long should I wait for before going for a test?

One can go for a HIV test 1 month after exposure and retest at the 3rd month for a conclusive result.

Hi ,
Just a quick question, have been reading all over that there is a theoretical chance of contracting the virus if her gums are bleeding or if you have an abrasion/puncture on the skin of your penis. (While being the receiver of a blow job ). Any truth in that statement?
Also I came in her mouth, does that make the risk any higher or lower? please comment!

yes, you are right....there is a risk in THEORY.

If your risk is receiving oral....than you are not at risk of HIV infection.

Btw, you "came" in her mouth put her at risk of infection by you.  Not the other way round.

You didn't have a risk of contracting HIV.

If anyone knows a good way to ask a girl if her gums are bleeding as she's about to give you a ********... I'd like to know what it is.  I'd also like to still get the *******...
