Unprotected (insertive) anal sex with transgendered escort/porn star

Hi.

Yesterday I met a gorgeous transgendered escort (no visible signs of drug use or health issues) and we had unprotected anal intercourse. I was the inserting partner, which I guess is an important factor. Prior to our engagement I had asked if she was drug and disease free and she replied "yes, I get tested". She is a porn star and also an escort and the industry has her test every few months (though I can't be 100% sure that she is still active in pornography, its more or less just taking her word for it.) She is a porn star though, I looked up videos of her but they were dated back from 2004-2007. She is an "upscale escort" and was bragging about having million dollar clients, so that put me at ease a little but I'm really freaking out here. I NEVER have unprotected sex and I don't know what got into me this time.

Why would she let you have unprotected sex with her? This world is crazy.

The statistics on these things suggest that the likelihood you caught hiv from one act as the insertive partner is very low. To top it off you have done the right thing by confronting your fear and taking the propper steps to address your concerns. You are  not likely to contract hiv from the single incident but still if you'd used protection this would never have been a concern.

You can only look forward and the chances are you'll be ok, so stop worrying and dont make the same mistake in the future.

Hi,

So I went and got tested and I've been just so anxious waiting for the results. I was so worried because I went to the Doctor and the urine test indicated I had a Kidney Infection. So, I got blood work done and results came back for the STD's and I have no signs of STD's present. I have to wait until tomorrow morning for the HIV and other tests to come in. Is it more likely that I'm home free of that if my STD tests came back negative? Just anxious about everything so I'm trying to use logic here. The person of question still talks to me and everytime I ask she is firm with saying she's disease free and if she doesn't even have an STD I'm guessing the likelyhood is much lower. Thanks,

S

This doctor seems to use statistics in "this forum" ....

http://www.medhelp.org/posts/STDs/HIV-Risk---Condom-fell-Off/show/247058

If statistics aren't used in this forum, what is the purpose? For you to log on and repeat "Don't have sex with out a condom, get tested in 3 months" to every response regardless of the situation? If that is the case --- why not create a static page called "Click here if you've had unprotected sex" and have "Don't have sex with out a condom and get tested in 3 months, good luck." posted to save yourself the trouble....

We don't play statistics in this forum. Statistics are false securities and will never tell you your status.

What is, the fact that I' going to be paranoid for 3 months? Yeah, I know. I was just hoping that I could get some statistics on here. I read that my chances are .06% out of 10,000 encounters as the insertive partner and no sores / wounds / rectal bleeding. I'm also trying to take into account all the other information to determine whether I should truly be worried or not.

That's a fine example as to why a condom should always be used correctly and consistently.

I'm going to get an HIV test in 3 months as well as STD testing done. I've never had it done before because , well , I've never had to worry about it... 3 months is a long time to ponder about this. I texted the women and asked her again and she replied "OMG I am tested and am clean. You will still remain the same as before, your clean as well."  I should probably trust her but I cant help but be paranoid. I don't know how many clients she sees or when the last time she was tested was, but as an upscale escort I'm assuming most are married wealthy men. I just want to know some statistics I guess, considering all the factors or else I'm going to be worrying quite a bit for the next 3 months.

nPEP is only given to people that have had an exposure to someone KNOWN to be HIV postive.

If it's not too late (within 48-72 hours) you can start a PEP treatment, which can reduce your risk. But i don't know if it would be recommended in your case. She is definitely in a high risk group, and unprotective insertive anal intercourse is defined to be high risk. See a HIV specialist as soon as possible, evaluate your risk and make a decision.

You can test for HIV at 3 months post exposure to obtain a conclusive test result. You also need to have an STD panel done.
