Unprotected sex with a girl meeting in Bar.

Hello Doctor,
    My friend  had a unprotected sex with a girl about 1months ago,they met in a bar so they knew nothing about each other. The girl was in her menstrual flow  period and my friend did not take a condom when making love .
    Is it possible for my friend to be affteted if the girl carry HIVs and Whether my friend should take a test ?

The doctors in the forum says the risk of unprotected vaginal sex with infected partner is 1 in 2000 (female to male).So,the risk is low.The girl may NOT be hiv+ as most people are not infected with hiv.Test at 6 week as it will give good indication of his status.
he should contact his local hiv support and counselling centre to help manage the anxiety.
