Unprotected vaginal sex with prostitute.

I am a healthy 30 years old circumcised male. I had vaginal sex with a chinese prostitute last night in kuwait, however, i did not use a condom for the first 2 minutes or so of the intercourse. I then came to my senses and used one. What is the risk of me contracting aids in the short time i didnt use a condom?
Iam very worried about this incident as it was a one off thing, and i am married. Please advise in as much detail as possible.

Hi Mikey63 your comment "Can you tell me where I can get a prostitute here?? " has me completely confused, unless you were making some kind of joke. Leave the pro's alone and find some safer sex with a condom back in the UK. Sex is the furthest thing from my mind at the moment it ain't worth the risk in my opinion. Going for HDUO test in two days at 28 day mark. Of course I did not practice safe sex at all in a moment of complete stupidity on my part. I certainly know I'm an idiot.

Jag, I'm glad you were amused. I do always use a rubber though.. The 'condom split' drama happened when I was working in Mexico last year. I'd just finished work around 1am and the Mexican guy I was working with suggested we go have a few Tequilas and maybe find some girls ;-)
We ended up at a local bordello .. and i was now a bit worse for wear!  I chose a girl and was banging away for a least 40 mins or so ( the alcohol had numbed the senses) .. Imagine my shock, horror when I pulled my **** out and saw the remnants of a condom around my ****!!  Should have used my own condoms from the UK .
By the way, I don't think I'll be having any fun here in Kuwait.. I'm just counting the days 'til I fly back to the UK..

Thank you Moh1980, i appreciate your help.
By the way, i got hold of the pimp number and asked her if her girls have been tested for HIV. She told me not to worry because they get tests evry month, she also explained they need the test in order to get the civil id in kuwait.. they apparently work in a hair saloon. Is that the uasual case with the chinese girl in kuwait? if so, should this information help ease my mind?
I will definately go for a full check up at one of the clinics you mentioned. Here is my email droplets_77***@****  ..if you could give me more details on the type of test they can give etc, or a specific doctor there that you might recommend. thank you moh1980.

Hi Droplets_77, one of the best private labs here in Kuwait is united laboratory; your test will be send oversea to a clinic in France. The website of United lab is http://unitedlabs-co.com/price.htm
Their full address is:
Board Member & CEO
United Laboratories Co.
Block 7, Alkindi St, Building 77
1st Floor
Sheab Albahri
Kuwait
Tel:  +965 225 22 55
The second lab is called, the Kuwait Germany Laboratory, also they will ask you if you want your test's result to be private ( confidential ) or public, ask them about the personal private test, in this case only you will know the results and the test will be done in Germany.
Their address is: Kuwait, Al jabriya area, Block 3A, Street 17, building 8, 3rd floor
Tel: +9655315456
Don't do the test in a public or private hospital, they will ask a copy of your civil ID and the result will be in the record of ministry of health here in Kuwait, because the test will be done in one of its lab. So my advice is call one of these two numbers I gave you. Good luck, if you need anything please let me know, I will be more than happy to help you to move on brother

My first experience with Chinese hotels, I was 26 I think. My dad was with me. Any how, I speak a fair amount of Chinese... actually a lot.   So I am in a hotel room with my dad and I got a phone call, the girl ask me if I wanted "female companionship?"  I was shocked. I declined, I told her that it was not "convienient" and in Chinese culture that pretty much means NO.  Well she kept calling every 30 minutes, until my dad picked up the phone and in English said "Don't call here again."

Any how, the next morning I noticed that a large percentage of the girls working at the hotel had "hickeys" or love bites on their necks.   Hmmmm makes you wonder.

What described by you, is 100% correct and real. My experience was also in a hotel of international repute (an internationally known chain of hotels) at Tianjin China where the entire 5th floor is occupied by massage parlor, offering special "upgradeable" room service to the "valued clients" ensuring total privacy. These girls know everything other than a professional massage and come to the point only after a few "strokes" here and there.

Yep, one does not really understand the benifits of a faithful & goog relationship until these types of things happen.

What I don't get it how the CSW live their day to day life like it is no big deal, no worries....  they just blow it off.   In Thailand the CSW's live a pretty normal life, if not a great life. In general they earn more than pharmacists, and some more than cardiologists in Thialand. So I guess it is the money that does it for them. A lot of the girls are very uneducated, and there is a surplus and high demand for the educated. It is common for people working at 7-11 to have a BS degree. So if you don't have a degree getting a job making any decent money is difficult.

I recently was in China, and for those that don't know most hotels, even the high dollar ones run a "girl" service. They call you up and ask if you need a massage. Then a girl shows up and rubs on you and then tries to turn you on....  get you to agree to an "up-grade" and performs essentially any sexual act upon request.

Me, I am in pretty much a failed marriage. Just an empty shell....   any how, as I said, I was in China, I got the phone call, I said yes send a girl....  a girl shows up... starts her routine, and then says she needs to go to the bathroom... comes back, in her birthday suit....

I just laid her down on the bed wrapped her in a sheet and talked for an hour. She asked me why I was not interested.... I said I was, but I know it would be meaniningless... just like "drinking a glass of water...."  No big deal.  (it also helped that she was not very attractive)

Any how, we talked about a lot of things, her boss called & got angry because she was not able to convince me to request "full service."   Although I enjoyed her company, the next night when I recieved the phone call for a massage, I just said NO.  I figured the girl would only get in throuble again.   Imagine, how many guys these girls go through a night, a week, a month.....
Truth is, I want companionship more than sex.

Any how, wish the OP lots of hope, and don't stress so much. I found with me after a PCR the stress was removed greatly. So I don't vote against it, regardless of the possible false positives.

Dear Friend ! I had to go through the same nightmare sometime three months back. Sleepless nights, nausea, headache etc. etc. all anxiety driven outcomes. My exposure was limited to insertive oral and hand to genital contact with a massage girl in China, which is believed to be "no risk" situation by all knowledgeable here, but it was my first (and last) endeavor in my life.

Had to travel to USA only for repeating all the test done at home. It was a hell of long time never felt clock moving that slow in my entire life. Shared the whole story with my wife and believe me, I could not withstand against that monster alone. I got marvelous support from her as she not only stood by, but also offered special mid night prayers  for my health, and I saw her crying and weeping in front of Almighty for me. Giving up the hopes of God's blessings is by itself a sin, He always listens and forgives.

However, lesson learned, was ever lasting as written on a stone.  Never ever involve with someone outside your committed relationship, which is to me, the only option of safe sex with "zero risk" in true sense. My good wishes for you and will always include you in my prayers.

I'm always imagining how i'm gonna live the rest of my life.. lol  maybe i'm over doing it. but never the less, i wont be at rest until the test at 12 weeks... 12 weeks of hell, i'm gonna go for a pcr, just called a close friend of mine, hes a doctor at a hospital. he's telling me not to worry so much.. but it's difficult.. He'll give me more feed back about the availability of PCR in kuwait.

If immediate urination was a quick "PEP" for HIV, it would have definitely mentioned somewhere in the research. I do not think, it is an appropriate way to "wash out" what has been picked up.

Never the less, as said earlier, you have very low probability due to being a male (females have higher probability to pick),  circumcised (uncircumcised males have more risk due to "additional area of exposure" of their inner foreskin) and having vaginal sex (anal sex is far riskier).

I dont have any std's nor do i have any sores or cuts on my penis, i am also circumsised.. saying this.. i have read that there's a chance of the prostitiutes vaginal fluids entering my urethar.. Now would it make a difference if i urinated right after the sexual encounter?? wouldn't that help wash out and eliminate any chance of infection through my urethra?

Enough debate on PCR. Its your decision, you may go for it, but please be prepared to get a "false positive" which might raise your anxiety level many times. If it comes negative, it is negative for sure.

Accuracy and reliability of a standard ELISA is second to none, I still maintain.

Last but not the least, in future, avoid those Chinese ****** roaming in the middle eastern emirates and entertaining 10 clients a day (as Moh pointed out). Pleasure of sex does not last for more than a few minutes, but picked up HIV stays with us until the end of our remaining post infection miserable lives.

I think the common consensus is 28 days for a PCR, but I have read literature as little as 2 days...

Truth is I have had mabe 5-6 PCR tests done over a period of time. I was not haveing a lot of luck, broken condom, blood exposure etc....  all pretty much 3 months apart.

Any ways that is behind me now. But I was very fortunate to have PCR tests readilly available.  I re-checked the math. Currently a PCR done on the cheap is 50$ and on the high is around $150 in Thailand.   The 150 is from one of the BIG expensive expatriot type hospitals, but they send the sample to the same lab as the 50$ operation.  The 50$ place is actually a God send. What it is is a large research facility at a medical school that is multi nationally funded. So prices there are very reasonable, all done in a clean professional environment. If the sample is taken from a small private clinic, the fee is around 70 USD.   So those are some more prices from Thailand.

As i understand from you that a PCR test is not recommended because it might give me a false positive.. could it give me a false negative also?  would i be in the clear if it gave me a negative? If so when acn i take it? after one week or3 weeks?
Moh1980.. where is this PCR test available in kuwait? Any recommendations? thanks.

You don't contract AIDS, it's HIV that you contract.

Moh1980, I'm living in kuwait. Sounds like youve had experience of the clinics.. which one should i go get tested in?
By the way people, the ratio of 1;1000 chance of getting aids through vaginal sex.. is it true.. because thats all i'm living on right now.. my whole sanity is surviving on that ratio. The ratio sounds promising.. i can live with 1:1000. Sounds like you have to have really bad luck then to not survive that ratio. Any feedback??
