Very Breif anal

Hi Doc.
I recently had an experience with another guy. It consisted of very brief(10 seconds) insertive anal sex. I did use a condom that the other guy provided, but now I am worrying that it could have been lambskin. I only penetrated him about an inch and after second thoughts withdrew after about 10 seconds or less. I know my risk is zero with a latex condom but what if it was lambskin? Also, here in England private clinics are offering HIV DUO tests stating that these are conclusive after 28 days. Their logic is that a person with HIV would show a positive result with a DUO test for antigen and/or antibodies after this time. What are your thoughts on this?

You were not at any measurable risk of HIV.  Such a brief exposure probably cannot transmit HIV at all.  And 'could have been lambskin' doesn't matter:  although all the emphasis is on latex condoms, any barrier at all--even natural skin condoms--is highly protective against HIV.  I would not have recommended HIV testing on account of such an encounter, at least not on the basis of actual risk--only if needed for anxiety relief.  I agree that the results are conclusive with the testing approach you describe.
