20 days ago when the condemn tore without my partner relazing. Anyhow, my partner seemed to have been around the block a few times. Ever since, i've developed severe headaches and neck
, and heels also causing finger and toe numbness. I was so paranoid since i've never felt this way. Especially, when the nerve pain shot down my spine on my back. I rushed myself to the ER and he assumed i had chlamydia. To my surprise, i'm 29 and never experienced an STD but he did run blood and urine work and also gave me a pelvic and drew the conclusion from the pelvic exam that i had a PID, UTI, and chlymdia. However, he wasnt able to corroborate this since my blood work would take 72 hours to arrive with results.
The day after I had the unprotected sex, i dragged my partner down to planned parenthood because i know he may have some sorts of STDS and wanted to get him checked for HIV in particular. To my surprise they were closed, he on the other hand seemed disturbed and paranoid about me dragging him.
I've came to the conclusion that most likely he has HIV and simply isn't aware since he sure as hell gave me Chlymdia. Anyhow, I was wondering how soon it is for me to find out and get an HIV antibody or some type of test that would quickly determined whether I do or not. This arthiritic/neurologic pain i'm experiencing is something new and I feel something has taken over my body completely these past two weeks. I;ve never experienced heel numbless, wrist, ankle, or toe pain before. Do you think these may be symtpoms of the acute stages of HIV. If so, how can i protect myself before it develops further???? I'd kindly appreciate your opinion and advice regarding this matter. I've been incredibly paranoid and have no appetite for anything these past two weeks. It's really taking me thru an emotional toll, but i figured some kids are born with it, so it can't be that bad.
Well, what i have is called Reiters Syndrome or reactive arthiritis . It's actually a common symptom of HIV and Chlymadia. Im trying to figure out if it gets cleared up , is it still an HIV symptom afterwards? That's my paranoia. These two sort of cause reactive arthiritis.
Reactive arthritis, also called Reiter's syndrome, is the most common type of inflammatory polyarthritis in young men. It is sometimes the first manifestation of human immunodeficiency virus infection.
