Very anxious

I was curios to whether or not my exposure and/or symptoms hint at HIV.

-red dot on the inner elbow where it creases. It was only one red spot and has faded since. Wasn't a pimple but had crusts on it. My friend said he gets them from sweating and working out.

-white dots that look like tastebuds but are white around the tip on tongue. Since have gone away

-white spot/sore on the side of the tongue. Hurt for a day and a half then shrivled up and the skin flakes off. Don't know if this was from biting or grinding my teeth or a dead tastebud.

Haven't really had any other symptoms but oral issues but nothing different then what I've described. Only exposure was making out with a good amount of tongue. She also bit my lip and my neck. The lip didn't seem to bleed but my neck had a mark on it like it was bruised.

All comments would help a lot. Thanks!

It's time to move on and accept that you're HIV negative. We have nothing new to offer you. Consult a doctor if you're concerned with your symptoms, they are unrelated with HIV.

Ok so I woke up this morning and my body pain is still there ebb I cough or laugh. I want to believe this Is from playing dodgeball but I hVe a fear that it's from HIV or something else. Since body aches have been known to be a symptoms. But these started 6 weeks 3 days after.

I know you're probably right. The woman I made out with tested 2 weeks before our make out incident via oral swab and it was negative. But just a few weeks before she was dating a guy who was into heroin. She said mainly smoking it. I guess this just has me worried that although all I did was French kiss for some minutes that there still might be a chance.

I just want to be able to have unprotected sex with my new gf and not be concerned about passing something on.

I forgot to mention. I woke up this morning and my whole upper body hurts. Like it hurts to laugh and breathe deep. I played some intense dodgeball yesterday. I was curious to whether these could be possible symptoms of a new infection at 6 weeks 3 days post exposure. Thanks!

Thanks mbhurt!  I'm starting my first session of counseling on Thursday for my anxiety and what I've been told "irrational fears" of having HIV from my exposure.

Dont do this to yourself. You are stressing over nothing. You did not have any risk of HIV. Let it go and move on with your life.

your "symptoms" are not ars "symptoms" ! ! !

hiv is transmitted through...
unprotected vaginal / anal intercourse
sharing iv drug works
mother to child

kindly move on...you do NOT have a hiv concern.

I guess it just makes me feel I gotta wait until 3 months before I continue sex with mf gf. Since my symptoms occurred around/between 2-6 weeks after exposure.

You had no risk for HIV from deep kissing or being bit. It is NO RISK at all. Your symptoms don't have anything to do with HIV...you didn't need testing!

Most people would say there was no chance from my exposure but I feel very anxious that you had to ask after reading what symptoms I had afterwards.

It was just deep French kissing with lots of tongue and saliva exchange. Along with the bites I got during it, I posted it in the last paragraph.

Tested at a little over 4 weeks seab, negative.
