Very scared and hoping i am ok

Hello evertyone.  Thank you very, very much in advance for your support.  It means teh world to em at thsi time.

I was on a dinner date with another man last night.  We hugged and kissed and that's all.  I don't know his status because I wasn't intending to be intimate with him.  So, here is where my fear comes into play.  After open mouth kissing on an of for probably 20 - 30 minutes, I noticed I had a small cankor sore inside my upper lip when I returned home.  It was a bit painful and not bleeding.  I never tasted or saw blood either.  I think it happened because my lips were chapped and they split inside a tiny bit and then the cankor sore was formed.  I also have a mild case of gingivitis though I hadn't brushed or flossed for hours since I didn't want any trace bleeding going on in my mouth on the date.

So, my question is, does this safe activity become any risk at all for hiv infection since I had thsi small cankor sore?

Thanks in advance for your words of guidance and wisdom.
