Very worried, Massage Risk

by overanxious85, Jun 30, 2009 09:38AM
Hi,

My wife and I recently tested negative for hiv as we have recently started a fertility treatment program to try to have a baby.

A few weeks ago I had a full body massage, no sexual contact, However,

The massuese  at one point dug her thumbs along both sides of my spine at several points.  It was painful
as I felt more of her thumbnails dig in my skin.   Within a minute or so after that, she started to use her elbows and forearms along my back.

My question is, If she had caused small bleeding cuts on my back with the pressure from her thumbnails,
and if she had a cut on her elbow(s) or forearm(s) that may have opened  and started to bleed from the her own application of pressure, am I at any risk?  Do I need to test again or  even delay the fertility treatments which involve insemination?  Should I have any other concerns from a massage?  I have been stressed out and experiencing pain around several lymph gland areas

Thank you for your time.   JC

No sexual contact, no risk whatsoever of HIV or other STI infections. End of story.

You were never at any stage at risk of HIV infection from what you have posted. PERIOD.

So, just to be clear, if during a massage,  I recieved some cuts on my back from hard pressure with thumbnails, and then the female massuese then used her arms to massage my back, if she had a cut on her forearm and wiped/pushed her blood into my cut, I would still have no risk and any continued thinking would be absolutely irrational?

just coming up with that scenario is irrational thinking ! ! !
