Very worried about possible HIV exposure

Very worried about possible HIV exposure

Thanks for reading this message.  I am sorry it is so long.  I appreciate any help that you can provide.

3 months ago I had sex with a commercial sex worker in London England.  During intercourse we used a condom however I performed cunnilingus on her without any protection.  I know ... not a brilliant move.

Anyways, a few days later I noticed that I had a mild burning sensation in my mouth.  At first I suspected that she had applied some sort of chemical on her vaginal area for protection and that maybe it had burned my mouth a bit.  Anyways, eventually this developed into a 'burning mouth syndrome'.  In the morning I get up without any weird feeling in my mouth at all however as the day progresses my mouth starts to burn.  Sensation is strongest on the flesh behind my bottom lip.  It's not painful but definitely annoying.  Anyways, I googled my symptoms and found out that many others had the same problem but very difficult to narrow down what causes it.

I am typically a very healthy person.  Very rarely if ever get the flu or colds.  About 2 months after the encounter in London though, I came down with a throat infection.  Didn't feel sick but had a very sore throat actually all the way through to my ear canal but no cough.  I went to see the doctor (difficult to communicate because I am temporarily living in Taiwan).  First doctor said I had a throat infection, gave me antibiotics.  They didn't have any effect.  Second doctor said that my tonsils were infected and gave me new pills which worked right away and the infection went away.  I am worried this is the 'enlarged lymph nodes' symptom of HIV.

Its been about 2 weeks since then and I feel run down, lethargic ... much weaker than I normally do.  I went to get an HIV test today but I have to wait a week for the results.  Don't know if I can stand the stress.

Thanks for reading.

oh no!  the ole "burning mouth syndrome"!!!!!  now i know a doctor didnt diagnose you with that.

hhhuuummm.  performing oral sex is not a means of contracting hiv.  your symptoms are not indicative of ars and the timing is waaaaaaaay off.

take a chill pill or an aspirin...whichever works best for ya.  your test will be a BIG FAT NEGATIVE...woohoooooooo.
