I just had a question about this "viral load" test or NAT DNA RNA PCR test because I have been doing some research on hiv testing plus my Dr. actually did this test for me. I cant wait three months to test for the antibodies HIV test because I find myself being non functional in my life and dont have a peace of mind. They say they run this test to screen blood donars and also newbornsNewborn jaundice whos mothers are hiv postive to test the gentic make-up of the hiv virus instead of antibodies. They say that it takes 3-4 weeks to be highly accurate. I just want to know if I take this test at three weeks, how reliableReliable gentle laxative and certain that I can say that I dont have HIV? pls respond. thank you!
I myself have done 3 of these tests. I did mine at 17 weeks after my possible exposure. My counselor told me that I had to wait 4 weeks to get it highly accurate. If your wondering why so many test, I just posted question on how people deal with the obsession of HIV like me.
To be honest with you I think I had over 25 test already but, I think I need to a psychiatrist, LOL
