Was this stupid?

A little over three months ago, I had unprotected vaginal intercourse with a girl of unknown status.  That was definitely stupid.  I decided to get tested today, but I couldn't bear the thought of waiting a few days for blood work.  Therefore, I used this organization:

http://www.tkno.org/Testing-Services.aspx

A woman came to my apartment and performed the oraquick oral test, which came back with one line in the C position.  She told me this was negative.  Do you guys feel that this was a reliable means of testing?  I am worried that she may not have swabbed correctly, or failed to put the solution in properly etc.  Was it dumb to pay money for this or do you feel it provides adequate assurance? Please let me know your thoughts.

Your test was conclusive and you don't need further testing.

Thanks for clarifying, Teak.  Last question - do you feel this test provides adequate peace of mind for me to MOVE ON, or do you agree with REICO that I should get a finger prick confirmatory test?

Correction: Not going to be told.

If you didn't get a control line, the test was invalid and you would have been told. You are going to told that your test was negative without the test being done correctly.

Hey, thanks so much for responding.  I guess I should have been more clear in my question.  As I have learned from posts on this site, I know that the Oraquick Advance Test has been FDA approved and is reliable.  I was more concerned about the organization and the person that administered it.  In other words, if I had it performed at a hospital I would be a lot more confident in it.  Do you, REICO, or anyone else on this forum know the TKNO to be reputable, with well-trained staff?  Also, is it possible for the test to have been performed incorrectly given that I did get a line in the Control line?  That is, would there have just been no lines or blurry lines or something if the woman screwed up?
