Do all the symptoms come at the same time or can be separate? For example, have flu or fever at 2 weeks time and have body rash at 4 weeks time.

ARS stands for Acute Retroviral Syndrome.  It usually occurs 2-4 sometimes up to 6 weeks after exposure to HIV.  People with this can get a flu/mononucleosis type illness that lasts from a few days to several weeks. The severity of symptoms and type of symptoms can vary from person to person. Not everyone will get ARS. The most common symptoms are fever, sore throat and lymphnode swelling, but there are many more. Most people will not experience many symptoms after ARS for many years. I think the average is estimated to be 7 years before people start to experience other symptoms, but I am not a doctor so I could be wrong about the average. Hope this helps

ARS occurs 2-6 wks after exposure...fever, swollen glands-body, sore throat, rash-upper body normally, night sweats-maybe, muscle aches, joint aches- basically flu/mono type symptoms.  they can vary from person to person.  i find it hard to believe u can't find anything on it...just look up acute retroviral syndrome or acute hiv on the net...actually don't do that...you'll be nuts like me.
