Condoms are effective against HIV, period.
As far as I know, they are also effective against chlamydia and gonorrhea.
They might not work as well against HSV, HPV and syphilis - but I'm not sure.  Ask those questions in the parallel forum.

Are you sure- Condoms doesn't work against against HSV, HPV and syphilis. I heard-If you get one STD from exposure- chances of getting another is very much certain-How true is it- I gave my compelete STD screening today and the results i get tomorrow. Just waiting to see ---what made the symptoms popup if its not HIV .(8 week negative)

A condom doesent protect all of your genitaly . So with hpv{genital warts } It just needs skin contact . That goes the same with genital herpes and syphillis . A condom does lower the risk alot though but not completely

Is HPV,herpes and syphillis curable. And if Yes how much time does it take to cure..

Syphillis is curable . Hsv once you have it you have it for life . There are medications for it to lower the amount of outbreaks . Hpv is a little different though you can get rid of the genital warts by freezing them off or by using a prescribed medication  from the dr but I think once you have them you always do but they dont always flare up or anything . I think its like 70% of people actually have hpv and not know it . Dont hold me to that number but I know its pretty high though . Hpv isn't like HSV or syphillis it doesen't increase your chance of acquiring HIV . Also there is no blood or urine test they can do to check for hpv in men

Thank you for the information. Very helpful. I just want to know--If by chance i get Hsv or syphillis from the exposure--can i marry in the future. Is it possible to live a happy sex life with Hsv or syphillis in monogomous relationship (As for me i shall never commit again to anybody till marriage--first time mistake and taking the pain). Will  HSV or syphillis increase the chance of acquiring HIV after 8 weeks negative.

You can get married and live a happy life know matter what you have . Syphillis is curable and hsv is treatable , I wouldnt have sex during an outbreak of hsv though . No hsv or syphillis will not increase the chance of acquiring hiv after a 8 week negative, It has no factor or relation to a 8 week negative test .

Thanx Chilly. Really helpful- Just went through google and had a look on all the symptoms on the primary stage of infection and didnt find myself correlate to anyone of those. So hopefully by gods grace-i shall come out succesfull---and very positively---

Syphillis contraction DOES increase your chances of aquiring hiv as do other STD'S. Are you planning on engaging in sex with high risk partners WWW? Maybe find a girlfriend or boyfriend. Ask yourself if it's worth the stress/anxiety you would be putting yourself through. If you are going to engage in sex with high risk partners just remember that you will leave yourself practically no room for error (still worth it?). Do you want someone to tell you your hiv positive one day?Find a trustworthy partner man, and leave it at that. Chances are good that your life will be a lot better than the other road of high risk partners. After reading this forum for four months, i'd say masterbate/get a nice wholesome partner/abstinance.
