What are the odds of a 7th week post exposure test?

Hi,

I have just got tested on the 7th week post exposure. The result came out was Negative.

I know i need to get another test at week 12, but i am anxious so i did it on the 7th week.

May i know how many percent accurate is the test at 7th week post exposure?

Also, I did the test in a clinic. The clinic will need to send my blood to the lab for analysis. It took about 11 days to produce my result, I just want to know that, if the lab receive my blood late, does it affect the result ?

No that its not possible, the test does not look for the actual virus itself but for the antibodies produced.  The time it took them to test the blood is irrelevant.

A 7 week negative is highly unlikely to change, I would expect you to continue to test negative.

Will my result vary if the lab receive my blood late? Wonder will the HIV virus died while on the way there. As I've said, it took them 11 days to produce my result. I am more concern of this.
