What is killing me

What is killing me

I had sex with  low grade SW on 7th of July 2005. It was my first time. I am a 30 years old uncircumcised  male. I had two episodes of sexual intercourses. On First episode, I asked her to put two condoms on, and she gave me oral sexfor about a minute then I ended up having vaginal intercourse with both the condoms on. Couple of minutes later I ejaculated in her, I was on top.  after that I withdrew my penis  from her  and  saw  that the condom was still intact. She pulled the condoms off me .She threw those condoms in a bin and wiped my penis with a clean tissue paper. Immediately after drying me out she put another condom on and started giving me oral, after a while I asked her for a tit **** and she performed accordingly. I believe the condom was still on during this time. Then I had another vaginal intercourse, this time doggy style. This lasted for a minute or two and I withdrew from her (I did not ejaculated in her). She started giving oral again till I ***. This time I don’t remember her pulling the condom off my penis but I do remember my penis was dry when she gave me the tissue paper.  I did not see any fluid on my penis while I was wiping it with a paper. I went to the toilet and couldn’t pee for a second and felt bit burning sensation while peeing .Next  day I Woke up with all the ARS symptom It went worst day by day I got tested on the 25th (1st of August 2005) day of post exposure and on six week marks.both tests came negative. 1) What are my odds to get HIV transmission through the exposures described above considering the fact that I had 13 standard drinks with in ten hours. Use of two condoms is not considered as a safepractice and my second episode I cant recall condom been intact. 2) I developed this awful  burning mouth syndrome from the exposure. I have heard BMS is very uncommon with men. If men get  BMS. It can be due to hiv infection.  How true is it ? 3) My penis also burns after I pee. I have had this since the exposure.

Unless there is a mistake in your dates, you are concerned about HIV from an exposure 2 and a half years ago.  Just have an HIV test; if it is negative, you weren't infected.  The negative HIV test 3 weeks after the event is slightly reassuring, but too early to be sure. All the details about your symptoms, sexual position, etc make no difference.

To your questions:

1) Alcohol intake doesn't affect the chance you got HIV if exposed and doesn't affect the HIV test results.  If you are in the US, the chance your partner had HIV is low.

2) Mouth pain isn't a symptom of HIV.  I never heard the term "burning mouth syndrome" and don't know what it is.

3) If your penile burning hasn't been evaluated professionally, you need to do that.  However, it is unlikely you have been carrying an STD for 2.5 years.  It isn't a symptom of HIV.

Bottom line:  Since you're nervous, have an HIV test.  I expect the result to be negative.

Australia has the world's very best network of STD clinics, called Sexual Health Centres.  The Sydney SHC is among the best.  Go there.  Say hello to my friends there when you visit.

I visited the SSHC  back in 2005. people there told me my exposure was hetrosexual therefore risk was very low and the six week -ve test was good enough but i am still experencing these symptoms. I recently had CBC,KFT and LFT tests  all seems normal but my well being is not 100%. Were two HIV tests done  back in 2005  (one on 25 days after and another six weeks after exposure ) infact false -ve .How likely is that? have u seen anybody
tested -ve at six week and alter turn +ve.

The SSHC folks know as much about this as I do and I agree exactly with what they told you.  A negative test 6 weeks after such a low risk exposure is 100% proof you didn't catch HIV and your symptoms don't suggest it.  But since you're nervous, and also because of the penile pain, return to SSHC and see that they say.
