Hello! About 10 months ago I had unprotected vaginal sex with my ex-boyfriend. He pulled out. I had those little wounds around my clitoris from sloppy shaving (they were coagulated, not bleeding) The intercourse lasted around a minute and it only happened once. His status is unknown, as shortly after that we lost contact. He is lower than me on a social scale, and I am an average (living in Eastern Europe).
In a struggle to look at my general health since then from a bigger picture (trying not to see everything as a symptom), I can say that I had a tonsillitis with pus a few days after the intercourse (which I got before and which responded to my regular treatment),a massive gum bleed (happened after intense exercise,no injuries), some mild flus during the fall/winter season, a stress-related eczema on my back(diagnosed by DR), and some weird, very intense "stoned"-like dizziness+headaches(the dizziness faded by itself in about a week, and for the headaches I took strong painkillers).
Just to mention, my ex was feeling sick (nauseous, cold, etc) pretty often.
I am aware of the fact that I need to test, but I haven't had the possibly to do it yet, and probably will not for a few months on.
My questions are: What are my chances of having had contacted HIV? How strong and different are the acute retro-viral syndrome symptoms opposed to regular conditions (like a flu or stress)? Is there any advice you can give me? (besides using protection next time, I am aware of my mistake)
Have a great day!
