What is the window period for this test ?

Hi,

I had an MEIA test yesterday after 90 days exaclty of my last possible exposure. MEIA stands for "microplate enzyme immunoassay". The doctor told me it's a reliabe test. It was negative by the way. However, I'm still worried. Because this isn't an elisa test I'm not sure if 90 days are enough. Please I need help.

Thank you..

ELISA stands for Enyme Linked Immuno Sorbent Assay. I don't know for sure, but I think your MEIA is just a shortened version of that.

A MEIA and ELISA test are the same. Both are antibody tests. Your test results at 90 day will be conclusive.
