, at a shopping centre. Touched her around, while touching her thighs, I went higher up and touched her panty. No direct contact with her vagina, only over her panty. Her panty felt dry andI dont recall any cuts
but had some peeling skin around my nails. I only touched her panty for about 5 to 10 secs, not even sure I touched her vagina as I did not see it. After this, around 5 to 10 mins later, I went to the toilet to urinated and might have touched my urethra with the same finger
Second, I met a casual contact, I just touched her and hugged her, and also kissed her on her cleavage and back. She did not have any visible wounds or cuts but I had few sores in my mouth.
Third, I met at a club. We danced together, touched her. She had some reddish spots on her hand and I did not have any cuts/bruises but I had some peeling skin.
I've asked all the 3 of them and they repeatedly insist that they're HIV negative. Even if they were HIV positive, am I at risk? Do i need testing? The most worrisome is the first one, I should not have had gone to the toilet. If I didnt do that, I would have touched my own genital.
Zero risk of hiv from all 3 encounters. At no time did you engage in anything that was unprotected penetrative sex.You never had a risk,You do not require testing and you should stop worrying.Your safer than the crown jewels.
thank you, so can i assure myself and be confident that i'm hiv negative? what if they were some slight cuts/bruises on my finger that i did not notice? am i still safe?
thank you so much. i've just one more doubt, one burning question. i would really appreciate if i can get that clarified. the FIRST contact whom i had touched the panty, i remembered she was wearing a pad inside her panty, i could feel its texture. if indeed her sanitary pad had some menstrual blood, can it seep through from the pad to the panty and then to my finger? if it did, and about 5 to 10 mins later, i went to the toilet to urinate, and held my penile/urethra area, am i at any risk? or my risk still stays at 0?
Its no risk because the hiv virus is unable to reproduce outside its living host,it becomes inactive an unable to infect. You don,t need to test for a virus you don,t have.
thanks lizzie, could you assess my risk for the one that i brought up recently, in the even that the woman had been wearing her sanitary pad, and there was menstrual blood in the pad and if it seeped through the pad to the panty, and from there to my finger and then to my genital area during my toilet trip, this is the one that i'm worried, i guess if this could be solved, i can really move on.. getitright77 has nicely said my risk is 0, i just want your assessment. thanks!
Hello, just wanted an answer. You guys have written that my exposure is of 0 risk. But I somehow seem to get flu like symptoms quite often. I had a minor flu, body ache, stuffy nose, sore throat and slight fever 1.5 months ago and recovered within 2 days. Now, I'm having a stuffy nose and headache again. Do these symptoms indicate anything alarming? A possible HIV infection? Or are they due to other reasons? I work in a grain factory and it's really dusty out there. Could it be a reason? Do i need any HIV testing? Only the above mentioned are my risks so far, nothing else at all. Thanks!
oh, you mean an anxiety of contracting HIV could actually cause physical symptoms in the body? like the ones that i get, stuffy nose, headache and etc...
i'm not having any health concerns, my ONLY concern is that these stuffy nose, headache that comes about frequently could be RELATED to HIV.. but then, i've never had a risk.. just wanted an answer from the experts out here.
