Window period and possible immunosuppression

Risk: I had unsafe receptive oral sex--no condom--with someone of unknown status. No visible signs of ejaculation.  The next morning while brushing teeth, I noticed gums were bleeding.

Was tested at four months (17 weeks) after exposure.  Came back negative.

I suffer from bad allergies and was using the NASONEX steroid nasal spray during window period.  Could this have delayed any possible seroconversion?  Would bad allergies be considered an immunosuppresive condition?

Any responses would be greatly appreciated.

Your sexual encounter was oral, so it was safe, bleeding gums or not.  AND you tested negative at 17 weeks.  Nasal steroids are not strong enough to make you immune suppressed.  They primarily act locally.

You have no reason to worry.
