Worried

I went for a HIV test and was tested negative. But I'm so worried that is it possible that if there's a HIV positive guy in the room previously, the germs will spread around the room? The door knob and chairs that they touched or sat before will be pass the virus if we sat or touched it too?

Cos after few hours after the test, I felt my throat was dry and slight cough and tiredness. That's why I'm worried.
