Worried again with symptoms
I am sure everyone still remember me , Lizzie Lou /Teak/XtremeStress/Xhost you guys all answered me before . I am a Hypothyroid because of Hashi for last 2 years , my incident was 3 years back if you guys forgot my incident , here is my post in following link

I am having too much headaches/joint/bone/muscles pain every day that i could do much physical work . Now for last 2 day i have canker soar inside my mouth , right inside my upper lip in left side. My tongue is white as well although it get pink once use tongue scrap or brush my tongue , do you think if it is thrush the whiteness is not removed ? correct .
My wife is complaining about acne/fatigue/angodiema so now fear come back again . Please help me.

please test and get this over with...it has been going on long enough. you NEED to test, just so that you can put this behind you and move on with your life. your guilt has got to be overflowing to every part of your life...and i'm sure you are making everyone else suffer right along with you...and that is not fair to the ppl who love you.

I know guys my anxiety will end after test if i am -ve but if positive for me is end of life . I am not a bad guy just made a mistake for 30 secs once in my life. Lizzie i wish i have a mom like you or my mom alive , i know i should talk like that i am adult should face the world as i said earlier i don't have a courage.

I know that... I have read rohit's post... but at the same time... I understand for some people, hiv means end of the world. You and Teak and couple of people really trying to help. Teak did help me too, I really thanks for his help. But I know what rohit and many others are going through, so just try to led them to do the right thing, which is get test.
BTW, you are a nice person too... =)

rohit has spent months on this forum...off and on...with a no risk situation. unless you know the background of a poster...dont be so quick to judge someone's answer to them.
That's too cruel for them... haha.. at least cantlivelikethis did test. I wish him luck.
Then the next best thing is for him to be banned from the forum completely and take cantlivelikethis with him. I believe Medhelp will step in here and clear these two from the forum.
Professional won't help in this situation, rohit won't go anyways. If he will go seek for professional help, he would go test hiv already. Just like cantlivelikethis said, it really drive you crazy when it comes to hiv, I have been through it. The only way that help is a test, no one can help even professional. So rohit, go get a test. You will feel a lot better than having endless nightmare.

His problem will not be slove just thru internet.

There is no need to be arrogant, believe me not all people are strong..I've spent 5 days on this forum reading and trying to find myself in every each thread, eating myself and people around me and today finally i pulled myself together and ordered home kit tester.
I can be hiv+ but one thing is for sure, i'm going to go crazy if i don't find out NOW!

If you have it, you have it... I didn't have courage too... but I know that, if I don't go get test... I will either get killed by my brain or by Aids...
When it comes to HIV, since we know there's no cure at the moment... we all afraid...
But it can be controlled by med... right? Also as I said... it maybe someother things bothering you. So go get test and end the nightmare...

How about you go in for an anonymous test? I am sure you can get one, and the good thing is, the counsellor there can help talk to you about your anxiety. The chances you are positive are very low. I think the reason you assume you are positive is because of your feelings of guilt.

I suggest you call the California AIDS hotline at 1-800-367-AIDS. They can direct you to an ANONYMOUS testing site. I think you should also ask them to direct you to one with counselling + rapid tests (not traditional test) because I don't want you to wait to obtain your results (seeing how nervous you are).
It is important that you go in for ANONYMOUS testing. Some testing is known as CONFIDENTIAL, but for that, your name is recorded and it may be available to insurance companies (it really depends). Anonymous testing, your name is never recorded and you are identified only by number.

I am in CA/SFO. Thanks for being so supportive i really want to do test but seriously when think hard about test result i just can't do it . Every one here told me that chance of being positive in my case is very slim , even Teak said no need for test my exposure is no risk.

I don't know buddy why i chicken out every time for testing and hold so much stress. May be i don't have a good friend or no one i can share or no friend can go with me while i do test. In most states, it is illegal for insurance companies to block you from getting insurance if you have HIV. If this is a big concern for you, there is such thing as anonymous testing. You can be tested without giving your name. Only you will know your status.
The chances you will test positive are slim. Most likely, you are going to test positive and say - what a stupid person I have been to make myself go through so much anxiety. You owe it to your family to get tested. If you test positive, which is unlikely, but if you did - then you can get treated. You can prolong your life. I absolutely agree with you, you are making 100% sense. My exposure was just 30 secs only once in my life i am sure you read my post link. There are lot of factors that stop me perform test.

You need to go to your doctor and express these concerns to them. They will provide you with psychiatric/grief counsellors. Getting infected with HIV is not the end of the world. Treatment has come very far these days, but it is important to ACT and get tested. With HIV infection, knowledge IS POWER.
