Worried to Death!

So Monday two weeks ago, I had sex with a guy. He said that he had no STD's and was healthy. During foreplay, he fingered me and got me ready. Then he started putting the condom on, realized it was backward, flipped it, and then put it on. After this, he put lube on it, jerked off for a couple seconds, I got ready, and then he entered me. We had sex for a minute or two. Scared out of my mind, I went to the ER to see if I needed PEP, and the doctor there kept thinking I had a condom break so I never got a true answer. Now this last Sunday, I started to not feel well. I was tired a little bit and got nausea and a headache towards the end of the night. The next morning I woke up and felt very cold but I do not believe I ever got a fever. By the end of the day and after taking some DayQuil, I felt great again! Yet today, the headache is back and I'm nauseous again. Does this sound like ARS? Could it be side effects to the Truvada/Isentress I've been taking? Did I even have a risk in the first place? Thanks in advance!

NOOOOO, I am not saying that.  I'm just explaining how significant the difference between protected and unprotected is.

Are you saying that I had unprotected sex? Is it likely I have HIV?

Unprotected anal sex is the highest of all risk.  Protected anal sex is almost no risk.

Ok, thanks! Just one follow up: was I at an exceptionally high risk for HIV here?

If the condom didn't break, and it doesn't appear it did, you did not need the PEP.  I think what your feeling could be side effects of the PEP. Those types of meds will leave some pretty strong side effects on your body.
