If you believe you have been exposed to HIV and want help to judge your risk, would like advice about HIV testing, or have questions about the effectiveness of condoms or risks associated with specific sexual practices, this is the site for you.
There has never been a verified documented case of HIV from oral sex. Saliva has over a dozen different enzymes and proteins that inhibit HIV from transmitting.
Just to expand on Teak's answer the CDC reports everything that has ever been said about HIV transmission. I believe that you can even find a case on the CDC website where someone claimed they were only kissing and got HIV. But it is known...scientific fact that kissing does not transmit HIV.
So the CDC will say this or that, but many studies have shown that HIV through oral sex is not a risk...giving or receiving.
