a question about health care setting

Has anyone ever been infected by having a blood test for hiv. i mean when having the blood tast, has anyone ever been injected with a used needle in a health care setting and got hiv? i guess my question is are nurses always very careful with thIS kind of thing when taking a persons blood for a hiv test.

No. Anyone who is doing a blodd draw uses a clean sterile needle. In all the blood draws I have had and I have had many they always used new needles and I watch them dispose of them in the big red bio-hazzard container. I have also have had some people who do the blood draw wear gloves or not wear gloves, rememeber intact skin is a great barrier against HIV.
