abnormal liver count and HIV??! TEAK!!

abnormal liver count and HIV??! TEAK!!

Just got blood results from a physical and checkup that I had...
My cholesterol was slightly high (214)....but the disturbing news was my liver count!!
My AST was 49 (slightly high)
But my ALP was very high 116, she wants it under 50!
So I'm going back for diabetes and hepatitis....
My questions is:
Could this be due to HIV??
I had a moderate exposure a couple years ago (receptive anal, condom used, with HIV positive partner (found out after the fact))

I tested negative at 60 days, and it's been a very tough battle mentally getting over thinking I was positive and the test was false negative, freaking out about every little syptom (symptom), thinking they were related.....
I've finally started to live normal again and now this?!?!?

PLEASE HELP!!!

could be medication, fatty liver, any number of things. I dont think HIV actually causes liver enzymes to increase.

thank you, is there anyone here that knows that for certain??
I've been researching, and it seems what I have found supports your statement, but I'm no professional and not sure what your knowledge of the subject is, but I appreciate your input
I was hoping someone with some experience with this on here may be able to help me out???

also, could the fatty liver be due to, or an effect of, elevated cholesterol??

You were never at risk of contracting HIV. You had protected sex.

Elevated liver enzymes and elevated cholesterol is caused by HIV medication not HIV itself and that is not what is causing yours. You did not have a risk.

thank you very much, makes me feel much better, however now I need to figure out what the hell is causing the elevated enzymes???

although I have read anywhere from 40 to 144 is considered in the normal range??  does this seem right to you?
don't know if you know much about this type thing, but you seem pretty knowledgeable with respect to most medical related facts...

if you can help me out here, great, if not, I appreciate your response earlier...
