about my status

i had unprotested sex with sex worker i think she was effected with hiv, then after i did
pcr proviral dna test that was negative
then after 2 months rapid test result was negative
then after 3 months immuno combs rapid test result negative
then after 4 months tridot test result was negative
then after 5 months simple elisa test result was negative
then after 5 months rapid test immunocombs test result was negative
then after 5 months and 16 days sd bioline 3.0 rapid test result was negative
my que is my docter said that window period is 6 months you have to test after 6 months then u get positive result, he said you have high risk exposure thats why u have to test after 6 months, am i free from hiv or i have to wait 15 days or even 1 year for confirm my status?

u r not follow cdc guideliness , cdc never said that 6 months for those persons who are on chemeotheripy , iv drug users etc

ok sir imagine whose immune system is week that person produce antibodies earlier than whose immune system strong because whose immune system strong they have to capacity to fight with hiv virus and whose immune system is week that person easily contrect with virus and produce early antibodies, pls see carefully sir

Jack: CDC does not specify who can take 6 months, but it is very rare.

but this is not rad nacco or who, this is medhelp and for a conclusive HIV result it is 3 months post exposure period. Your result will not change from that exposure

Well you were given the wrong information then.6 months only applies to chemotherapy patients,transplant patients on meds or chronic iv drug users because there immune systems are very weak to begin with.Your not in those categories so its 3 months for you.

cdc testing guidlines is 3 months post exposure and has been since 2004. 6 months is outdated information. It rarely takes 3 months with modern testing methods and that is conclusive even with the FDA and test manufactures

Your 3 months post exposure test for HIV is conclusive. You do not have HIV and do not need to continue testing from that exposure.
