Dear guys, the West China Hospital is the best hospital in our area, they use Roche Chemiluminescence method to test hiv, the report is written "Antigen and Antibody Composite test", do you know how long can be conclusive if use the Roche Chemiluminescence method ? Thanks you !

HIV while infecting and HIV tests conclusions do not consider a persons race, ethnicity, color or religion. Its the same for all.

dear, another question, you said the 4th after 4 weeks is conclusive, is there any difference between the race,like Asians and Europeans ? In other words,all people is conclusive if use the 4th test method after 4 weeks ?

Hi, antigen and antibody composite test/combo test/duo test/instant duo/insti duo is a fourth generation advanced testing technique where the window period is lessen down to 28 days. This test gives fairly accurate results which are conclusive. Generally 30 days is a good period to wait and get tested. 28 days is the standard time and results are conclusive after 4 weeks.
