accident razor cut

hello doctor
iam a mother of 2 daughters.3days ago one of my friends visited me in my house.i don't know if she is HIV positive but i know that she had lot of sexual relation before.she had a bath in my house and she used a razor not for long .am not sure but i think she washed it after she finished.after about 25 to 30 min my daughter 4y old accidently cuted her finger with this razor and got blood .she used tissue and i put bleach on her finger .after this am really scared a lot if my friend got hiv can that infect my little daughter.now my daughter seems ok and dont have fever and her cut dried.

Your daughter is not at risk.  A person cannot get HIV from environmental surfaces.  Also, you cannot assume, just because your friend has had many partners that she is infected...chances are she is not.

Lastly....do not EVER put bleach on an open wound!!!!!!  If anything YOU could have caused your daughter harm by doing that.  Good old soap and water is sufficient to wash out any cut.  Bleach is a very caustic household cleaner, it is not designed to be used as an antiseptic.
