I had high risk (unprotected anal sex).  I took a 4 week test, which I get my results back today.  How conclusive is that test?  I heard 50%, that true?  I am worrying all the time and it is effecting my day to day life.  I plan to take a test this week, being 5 weeks.  I will also take the 12 and then the 3month but I would like to try to feel some comfort.  

They guy who I had sex with says he is not hiv +, but I can only take his word at this point.

I got a better plan for you: pay for the guy you fooled around with to get a 20-minute rapid test.
If he's negative, you're done and don't have to spend another month in agony.

I plan to get tested at 12 weeks, and yes,I am carrying enough guilt to create a new religion - its been a long 5 weeks, not even half way to the 12 week  mark.

The results of your test, if negative, should provide you some relief.  Approximately 90% of people test positive by 4 weeks.  However you should know that you tested too early to get a conclusive result - that would be a test at 3 months.

I don't need to tell you to not make this mistake again!
