addition to previous post

I just wanted to add that my first icma and pcr duo was 2 weeks post possible exposure. I took only the pcr dna at 28 days which was negative. I thought graves was causing false positive. Icma is suppose to be 100% sensitive and 99.9 specific. So, you can undersand my fear and confusion. I live in a small town so good advice is hard to find.
Thank-you

Your tests indicate that you are indeed HIV NEGATIVE. No further testing is required.

Thank-you so much for responding so quickly but I am not sure if you read my full post. The initial post is under the heading  Confused about the types of tests and generations. I just joned so I am learning the system. I rad your profile and trust your judgement. If I need to relay the post sent earlier I will send it to you directly if that is ok.
Thank-you

The particlar tests that you have taken indicate CONCLUSIVELY that you are HIV NEGATIVE. You don't need to be concerned with "types of tests and generations", leave that stuff to us.

Thank-you so much. Your kindness is greatly appreciated, as I have been very anxious because of flu like symptoms the past week, now I can be more at peace. Again thank-you for helping those of us who have no where else to go, no one who understands.
Sincerely,
Obsessed

Hello again,
Just to verify, after reading my misplaced thread, you believe no further testing is required, despite my 2 week reactive icma?

Thank-you again

Have a problem with ocd when anxiety is high and tend to need reassurance.
I know it is hard to understand, but it is hard to control thoughts when anxiety is high.

Welcome back. I know I am being obsessive but would benefit from your reassurance that no further testing is required. I will then be able to put it to rest. I hope you will respond and not ban me from the site. I have had ocd most of my life, and cope with it fairly well, but my recent experience has kept my anxiety high.
Thank-you
