advice

hey all 28th march 2009 i had sex with a west african window csw in amsterdam, i had full std panel minus herpes test on the 30th of june. i had been most concerned about hiv. anyways the test i had was 3rd generation ELISA which ive read and been told is highly sensitive. anyways dr gave me results by text message it was all ok, negative which i was really happy with. however i didnt say what my incident was just said it was sex with a girl. now ive met a new girl she got tested the other day all tests ok, she wants ynprotected sex, however im a little worried that the test doesnt tests for the rarest subgroups/types of hiv and did i give enough time for 100% reliable tests. please let me know im a way at the minute and unable 2 contacts clinic untill i get home.

As long as you were tested for both HIV-1 and HIV-2 you are covered.
