afraid after mutual masternbation

by jeskin1969, Oct 23, 2009 04:11PM
I had mutual masterbation (masturbation) with another guy and am terrified that I may have contracted hiv.  His precum and semen were all over my hand.  Since then I have had weight loss and i am afraid to be intimate with my wife.  I never performed oral or anal with him

You are ok.  Mutual masturbation is safe sex, even with fluids (your partner's fluids on your penis, etc).  No one has ever been infected through mutual masturbation.

The theory:  hiv is denatured when exposed to air, rendering it basically ineffective to infect.  And even if some of the hiv was viable to infect the amount would be drastically reduced due to the hostile air environment thus no infection occurs.

If you want to test go ahead at 6 weeks, it will be negative (for this incident) and conclusive for your non-risk activity.
