another question

I am sorry to ask this question again, but, I don't understand the testing as some of you do.
I bought a home access test on Monday, I pricked my finger like it said, I let it sit on the paper for 30 minutes like it said then packaged it up and mailed it.  Then it said it is negative.
Now, for some reason I am thinking if I did it right or how can they test that blood since it sit like that.  Or wondering if I put enough blood on the paper.  What is wrong with me?
Please help me by explaining this test to me.

I've taken the Home Access test aswell and talked to them over the phone several times.  If they gave you a result back then you did the test correctly.  Try to relax and not to worrie about the science behinding the test. It is a reliable result as long as enough time has passed since your exposure, just like any other hiv test.  Search the various threads under ''Home Access Testing''if that will help. The worst part is over, waiting for the result.  You have a neg. test result, be happy.

Give Home Access a call if it will make you feel more confident in your result.  They can be reached at 847-781-2500.  They are very helpful.
