antibiotics

hello,

I  have a very serious question for this forum.

Do antibiotics treat infection in those who are HIV positive? Or do they become intolarante to medicine?

example; bladder infection or sinus infection. are antibiotics able to work for those who are HIV poz??

Thank you very much for your information.

Medications work the same way for people living with HIV as they do for people that don't have HIV. Where ever you heard different is totally incorrect. Find a better place to get your information.

Thank you for your answer Teak. I had a possible exsosure a while back. I've been tested 3 times out to 6 months after that exposure all the tests were negative.

but I have had a sinus infection with allergic rhinitis for several months now..

I'm currently being treated for it with antibiotics. but Ihavent felt better yet... So I was worried that if I was in fact infected would the antibiotics help cure the sinus infection?

Sorry for the winded response...

thank you Teak, I've read some of your other post comments. ANd you seem extremely knowledgable. I appreciate your help.
