I was engaged in an unprotected vaginal sex with a sex worker. two days later my penis foreskin began inflammed and was prescribed with doxycline for a week. i had sore throat a week later which still persist. i feel lousy with headache and it normal last for a while. i can feel my lymph nodes in my groin area which is hard. and i also develop white tongue. i being having paranoid for days n i know the best thing i should do is to get tested which i m going to do it 2

at no point did i say that you are experiencing ars symptoms...not sure where you got that from.

when someone has swollen lymph nodes due to ars, the swollen lymph nodes are not localized to one area (groin)

best advice i can give you is to GET OFF HIV SITES AND STOP LOOKING FOR SYMPTOMS.   anxiety can and does create very real physical symptoms.

test at the appropriate time to know your status.

Classic ARS symptoms are very high fever,very sore throat and rash on trunk--torso and limbs that doesn,t itch.These symptoms come all at once.The only way to know your status is to test.A DUO test at 4 weeks is very accurate.Follow up at 12 weeks for a 100% conclusive result.

if someone experiences symptoms of ars, those symptoms come at 2-4 WEEKS post exposure and last for 1-2 WEEKS.

you can test at 6-8 weeks for a very good indication of your status, and at that point the result is unlikely to change at the 3 month mark, when you get your conclusive result.
