ars question

Does ars symptoms have anything to do with when you test positive?Ive read that you will test positive within one to two weeks of onset of ars.My symptoms came at 28 days so that means i couldnt have tested positive at 31 days?

Worry not about the tests period, just the results for now. Focus on that and then go for another test. I'm not that versed on HIV, but most of the posts I've read say that six weeks is good, 8 weeks is better and 12 weeks is conclusive. So just take another test at 6 weeks. If that's negative then your chances are pretty good. Also, remember that symptoms mean nothing until you've been tested. Before that they can be due to anything.

Ive read on the forums at webmd that ars has nothing to do with the bodys ability to produce antibodies but i read on the cdc website that you will test positive by two weeks after onset if thats the case my test was useless and i know its not definitive anyway but the 85 90% was giving me some hope
