I know many of you said i had a low to no risk situation where i gave oral to a guy for a while not to completion but definately precum. I am also male. I have had multiple tests and really the only reason i had them is for at 2 weeks post oral i got a sore throat
and burning mouth are a sign of ARS so he told me to come back and have a 6 week then 3 month test. Well, I came back at 8 weeks (again after several antibody and pcr tests). He gave me an antibody and pCR test. Both came back negative today. I thought i was in the clear. The PCP is now saying that because of my burning mouth he really thinks the test might turn positve later and wants to see me at 3 months and 6 months to test. my questions:
1. Is there anything two a burning mouth and ulcers being the only symptoms of ars?
2. Is a 3 month not conclusive? Why 6 months?
3. I would think that at 8 weeks most antibody test like the one i had would be postive and if my symptoms really are due to ars that the pcr would be positive. But apparently this GP thinks differently. Opinions?
Personnally, I dont know what is wrong with my mouth. It is bothersome. But I am getting more confident by the day in my tests and less confident in this MD that really believes i need a bunch of tests at 6 months and I think he thinks I have hiv
