back again

Hi all,

I posted a while back.  A while back I received oral from a guy I didn't know.  7/8 weeks later develpoed 1 swollen node, week later has back pain, muscle pain, fatigue then one extremely red eye.  Rosecea flare-up occured at the same time.  I am certain I have reactive artthritis which can happen with HIV too.

The comments at the time was that I was not at risk so I did not test.  Well, still having back issues, dry eyes, rosecea etc.

I have used condoms with my wife b/c of birth control issues.  She has not perfomed oral on me since although I have on her.

Well, last time we were togther was 2 weeks ago.  She complained last week of a bout of diareah and has a rash on her chest on stomach.  Did I now give it to her.

I know all low risk but is all to coincidental.

I am going to get HIV test today, just freaked and need some help....

What were you told previous? That you had no risk, that is not going to change.

Vance,

What is the risk of transmission to a woman from man giving her oral?

by Teak, Nov 02, 2009 09:08AM
Zero, HIV is not transmitted in that manner.

Sure hope you guys are right.  I made one really dumb mistake and really hope have not wrecked my life.  CDC is not as confident as you all but I guess will find out.  Is rapid test ok.  Is over 3 months.

Testing is not needed, but if you feel it will help you finally put this behind you, then yes, a rpaid test is sufficient...and 3 months is conclusive.

nursegirl,

have not have a chance to get test yet,  My concern is not for me, but 2 weeks after my wife and I had protected vaginal, unprotected cunnslingus she had a couple hour bout of diarea (diarrhea), some muscle pains in chest and has had a rash on boobs and stomach for a week.  Sounds like ARS to me......
