blood draw..scared.help

hi all please tell me whats my risk..
i went to a blood test today for my illness..,there the procedure is not normal..which is very new to me.
at first they inserted needle in my arm and then connected it with a tube.and it automatically sucked the blood..
my doubt is the i dont know the needle or the tube is new..and i remember the needle was taken from a dark like needle cover..also i dont know the cover is new..
my qn..
please tell me what type of blood draw procedure is this..
if the needle is old and also the tube..what my chance of getting hiv if it as infected blood in it.
iam afraid to ask them ..

it is a "normal" blood draw.

labs use new equipment for blood draws...now move along.
