blood on glass.. HIV

While opening a wine bottle the waiter accidently cut his hand and was bleeding...if some blood came on the glass rim  or in the glass ... as i realised after having it is there a risk of HIV?

NO,

HIV is unable to reproduce outside its living host (unlike many bacteria or fungi, which may do so under suitable conditions), except under laboratory conditions; therefore, it does not spread or maintain infectiousness outside its host.

You have no need to worry or to test.

thanks nick....even though the time gap was very small and assuming blood is present on the glass rim?and it is hiv blood...

If u feel grouse on seeing blood, stop drinking it. it has no relevance to hiv transmission, they dont match. period

Microscopic cuts do not change this. There is no risk at all from what you describe, Even if you had noticable cuts or sores. HIV is just not spred in this way.
