blood on wound HIV?

2 days ago I had a wound on my heel which was caused by shoes, It bleeds a little everytime when I walk with shoes on. today I went out and hanged out with friends and one of my friend have a fresh looking cut on his finger. He didnt touch my wound but there was a little blood dropped out from his cut and got onto my wound. At the time my wound was not bleeding but has fresh looking blood on top. The friend of mine has very active sexual life, am I at risk if he is Hiv+? I dont think my wound was healed at that time because every time I walk with shoes on it kind of reopens the wound. It is not bleeding but always seems like has fresh blood on top, is that kind of wound considered as a fresh open wound? Please help me I m so scared right now.

Hi, you've received this answer:

HIV is only transmitted by unprotected vaginal, anal sex or by sharing IV needles. Transmission only occurs inside the body. It needs a controlled environment.

Therefore your question has been answered that no, HIV is not transmitted from cuts in daily life.  Good luck and w are closing this thread

And also I think I hav OCD. I quit having sex for the fear of hiv. I tested in Oct last year and the result was negative. I never had any sexual activaty since August last year. I m not a drug addict so I never shared injection equitment. Does it mean that I am 100% protected from getting Hiv? Can Hiv transmit from cuts in daily life?

Calm down and relax. You had no risk.

HIV is only transmitted by unprotected vaginal, anal sex or by sharing IV needles. Transmission only occurs inside the body. It needs a controlled environment.

So no risk and no reason for you to test.
