As you all know i am worried about my hiv test at 11 weeks specimen being tampered.
1) is it normalNormal saline flush when having a blood test for the blood to be tasken in a seringe then from the seringe into the vial. ( i am worried as in previous tests the blood went straight through a tube to a vial not a seringe then a vial)
2) What would be the risk from Tattoos in a third world country.
3) What would have to happen for the specimen taken to the lab to be wrecked therefore leading to a false negative,
4) Has anyone heard of anyone having a false negative or converting after 11 weeks.
5) I had a ag/ab test at 3.5 and 11 weeks, would any of these tests miss infection. Modern test in industrialised country.
I know I have anxiety from this i just cant believe i am still getting this get to me
1) How do you know that the seringe wasn't actually a removable vial? Where did you get tested? Don't question testing procedures...they know what they're doing.
2) Don't know
3) This rarely happens. They take care of blood specimens exactly the way they should for the specific tests.
4) No
5) No...if the 11 weeks was negative, then you are NEGATIVE!
Your problem is anxiety, and unfortunately no amount of negative tests is going to cure that. Please move on with your life.
