I am sorry, for disturbing you like this but please understand, I am very nervous, I can't think of anything else.
Please tell me one isolated rash is something that i need to worry about and did you ever hear about only a rash being the first symptom of hiv.
Thanks
Greg
my question is:
WHY are you continuing to "check" your body for something that you NEVER had a risk of contracting?
doesnt even make sense ! ! ! ! !
I have never checked by body for rashes so far, I did that y'day and I found one rash (brown color, kind of flat) on right most side of my stomach.
It may be there since long time or I am not sure, can this one isolated rash can also be the symptom? Other than that, I don't have any symptom.
Please advise.
Thanks
Greg
sorry, will never do that again
you do not need two posts on the board at the same time...asking the same question.
please dont double post
I am still getting these pimples as I am popping them as they come, out of nervousness.
Can we scratch a rash similar to pimples? Can these be rashes that I am not able to realize?
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HIV RASH AND NORMAL PIMPLE?
Please advise.
Based in what I've read in our experts forums, the digestive tract in an adult is too strong and well developed for the virus to remain infectious in ingested breast milk. The only known cases of transmission of the virus via breast milk is from mother to infant child, and this is because the infant's digestive tract is still underdeveloped, therefore leaving them more susceptible to infection. In your case this obviously wouldn't be an issue though. Aside from that, I don't see any way she would've lactated in your mouth to begin with. And even IF she did, and even IF she had HIV (the chances of that being the case are miniscule) you still wouldn't have been at risk.
thank you for the response.
everything will come together and last for a week or two
thanks for the response.. can you just answer this question
whenever rash comes, will it combination of flu / fever / sore throat and it can come alone as a symptom?
thanks
greg.
Symptoms does not mean anything when you did not have a risk and when you already have tests. Just forget about them and try to move on.
After 5 weeks of this incident, I went for a Oral test (OraAccu Test), it was negative
After 8 weeks, I went for a blood test (HIV Screen testing), it was non-reactive.
recently, I am getting pimples/acne on my forehead (don't think they are rash).
One question, please can someone respond:
Pimples can be considered as the symptom? whenever, HIV symptoms come, they can only be one of them (like only rash or fever or sore throat and etc.,) or it will be a combination?
Reason why i am asking is, i am unable to decide whether these pimples can also be the symptom?
Please advise.
Thanks
Greg.
Move on, you don't have an HIV concern.
continuing the same problem here.. please someone advise asap..
as I said, I am having nasal congestion and it is still there and this is 3rd week and I have been told that this is not a cold but these are allergies and this is for the first time that I am having allergies.
I do running, cycling every day outside and live in United States.
My question is, can allergies can be the first sympton of HIV? or as I was outside exercise, I got these allergies.
Please advise.
Thanks
Greg
Thanks for the response..
greg
You can stop being nervous because you never had a risk of hiv infection.Your mild congestion has nothing to do with hiv.Hiv is not transmitted from sucking a woman,s breasts, milk or no milk unless your an infant and clearly you are not.ARS symptoms are very high fever, very sore throat and body rash not mild congestion.I think your anxiety is clouding your ability to think rationally about this situation but it,s time to stop worrying because your safe.
I am not excessive posting, I am nervous, is the very mild congestion that i have is related to HIV or not, i will not disturb on this question again.
Please.. this is my nervousness, help and advise.
thanks
greg

Since one week or so, I am having very mild nasal congestion, could this be something related to HIV? Please advise asap..

thanks for the reply Teak..
Adults do not contracting HIV from breast milk.
sorry to push for an answer on this as i am nervous:
I read, if you suck breast milk, that would lead to HIV (if that lady had virus in her and am not sure her hiv status) and I already read that for Adults chances are very remote in such case and I don't recall breast milk coming out of her breasts but am very nervous.. thanks for every suggestion
unprotected vaginal / anal intercourse
sharing iv drug works
mother to child
do any of those apply to you?
you had NO risk and do not need testing
