can anybody explain?

i read that lymph nodes are like a bean or like a pea when they are in their normal state(wikipedia). But i read too that any enlargement is abnormal.i have two lymph nodes in the left side of my neck. They are like a bean and they have been there for 4 weeks. When somebody say enlarge lymph nodes means that the lymph node is bigger than a bean or a lymph node like a bean is a enlarged lymph node?i think this is very important information.atte.Luis.

You need to swallow your pride, go to your doctor, tell them your situation, what you believe your 'symptoms' are, and tell them you are scared of HIV. They will probably look at you and tell you are crazy (in MD nomenclature). Get tested 12/13 weeks after 'exposure.' This is the only way to overcome many of your fears.

Go to your doctor. You are NOT going be able to diagnose your own lymphnodes. I thought mine were swollen, asked 2 doctors....nope.

yes,ill go to the doctor but can you answer my question?if you had lymph nodes and they were not swollen how were they?

Not swollen.
Seriously, I have no idea. I'm not sure if I even was feeling my lymphnodes. I'm not trained to feel them; I'm not an MD. Neither are you. They probably have "been there" for 4 weeks only because you have been feeling for them for 4 weeks. In all likelihood, they are exactly the same now as they were 5 weeks ago.

dude, you need medical training to feel lymph nodes
it could be ligaments whatever
