ok so today at college, me and my buddies were eating lunch , and one of them had bleeding lips, he was drinking coke and so was i, we had straws , and i accidentaly drank from his bloody straw about 30-60 seconds right after he did, and then i used his napkin right after he did 30-60 seconds which had a little blood on it, and my LIPS were CHAFED . do i have a risk please read carefully

hiv is a fragile virus which transmits through the practising of the sharing of needles and unprotected anal/vaginal sex, you did not partake in this so no risk!

im pretty sure that these 3 ways are the most common ways to get hiv but they are not the only way to get hiv, like lets just say u have a fresh cut on you finger and then you touch a friends bloody hand ( THATS FRESH) , isnt that another way to get hiv ? im sorry but im overthinking and please dont think im against you, i just wana get things straight

the aforementioned practices really highlight that the virus transmits within the blood stream, so the scenario you have described really stems from those three practices, that said even the scenario you have given provides a very low risk and rare way of catching HIV, besides who touches their friend's bloody hand with a wound on their own?
