condom break

before we had sex i asked my girlfriend to get tested. It was 11 weeks since she had had any possible exposure. We still have been practicing safe sex but last weekend after marathon sex. I noticed that the condom was broken and probably had been for a while. I went to my Dr and he said I was still at high risk because she hadn't been tested at 6 months. On these forums i see alot of shorter window periods. Can anyone give me some peace of mind and tell me if her 11 week test is enough time? Is my Dr just not up on current literature?

even a test at 8.5 - 9 weeks is HIIIIIIIIGHLY unlikely to change.

her test wouldnt change in 1 week.  youre safe...and you are correct about your doctor.

do you know YOUR status?  have you had any exposures and not tested?

if not...no further testing is needed.

Just to be clear. From what I've been reading here testing 8-9 weeks after exposure is very very accurate and 12 weeks is conclusive? Just making sure of my Timeline.

Sorry to bother but I just asked my girlfriend and her time to possible exposure was closer to the 8.5-9 week before testing. Crap does that change your opinion about me being safe?
