condom slipped while having sex

hi doc thanks for time for reading my question. im asian age 35 recently on nov 8 2010 i went to cambodia n hired a sexual worker thr.  while having  vaginal sex  i notice my condom slipped n i dont realiase when it slipped . maybe i had sex with her wtihout condom for less then one minute. now i m very scared tht  i may get hiv from this event. to make it worse on dec25 i got flu n sore throat tht last for one week n also i have groin pain.Doc can this be sign of hiv  and so  do u think i should go for hiv test if so when is best time . thanks

Do fingering with cut on finger but no bleeding  can led to hiv infection cause i did tht also .thanks

Condom slipping and coming off are 2 very different things. Did the condom just slip or did it come off your penis so your penis was fully exposed and you were having unprotected sex?

Thanks for ur input.  im not sure when it come of from my penis when i   realiased the condom is inside her vagina .I think i had put my penis inside her without condom but  i sure it less than a minute. Do  think i m in high risk.Thanks

We don't say high or low risk here, we treat every risk as the same. If the condom came off and you had unprotected sex then test at 3 months for a conclusive result.

there is always a risk when the condom fails or slips. you maintain that it was for a minute.  the good news is  that Most people dont have HIV.

3 months is conclusive for a HIV test

a negative result at 6 weeks is not likely to change at 3 months.

Condom slippage is not a risk a condom coming off during sex is a risk. Losing a condom on withdraw because you didn't hold onto it is not a risk of contracting HIV.
