corticosteroids affect the the my test result ( even though I took after the window period).

Hi,

I had a sex with a girl on the 21 december 2009.

I got fever on the 31/06/2009. So, doctor gave dolo 650 and tabcef 200g.

And I got body pains on the 27/7/09. So, doctotor said it is due to the smoke.So, gave some Banocide tablets 100g. These are the corticosteroids.

After that in August  the body pains Increased. At that time I went for HIV anti body test. It is negative. At that time of testing also I am taking the corticosteroids tablets.

Is that tablets corticosteroids affect the the my test result ( even though I took after the window period).

Please help.

You do NOT need to be concerned with your corticosteroids effecting your HIV test results when the test is taken at the appropriate time...period.
